Regular price £105.00 £0.00 Unit price per

Own a piece of the legendary Morant family estate. This Victorian cobalt ewer was discovered in The Hermitage, a 28-room mansion left untouched for nearly 100 years.

Sourced from the famous 2013 "time capsule" auction in Hexham.  It is a Deep blue glass with a Renaissance-style cherub handle.

This was crafted by one of Sheffield's respected Victorian silver plate manufacturers.

It is hallmarked and the maker is R & Co which belongs to Richard Richardson, established in 1796.

The ewer handle is high quality silver plate and is likely to date from 1873 - 1900.

Height - 18cm

Condition - Excellent glass. Note: Metal mount is loose/detached from the glass (aged adhesive), but sits perfectly for display.
