Victorian Cabinet Card Photo likely from the late 1800s

An original Victorian cabinet card photograph likely dating to the late 1800s, featuring a boy dressed in smart attire, standing next to a decorative studio chair.  

The photograph is mounted on its original cardboard backing and was taken by G S Cousins, a professional photographer based in Bury St Edmunds during the late 19th century.

The card measures approximately 16.5cm x 10.5cm including the mount.

Condition: Fair to good antique condition.  There are some visible age-related markings and wear consistent with its age.  Please refer to the photographs for a detailed view of the condition.
