A beautiful heavy silver decorative cushion shaped hinged box with a pierced out scroll design on the top and edge. There is a raised swirl empty cartouche in the centre with space for engraving.
It is French silver and has stamped on the underneath a star 54 and 800.
The little trinket box is from the 1940s.
