A fine quality Edwardian solid silver Vesta case with a curved shape and floral decoration. There is a fancy bordered empty cartouche in the centre. Space for engraving and a double beaded edge. The match striker sits underneath and the hallmark is inside the top edge. A ring is attached so it can be worn on a chain.
It measures 4cm x 3cm x 0.7cm when closed.
It has a full British hallmark for Birmingham 1906.
The maker is R.R (worn).
It weighs 17.2gms (0.5 troy ounce).
The condition is good. There are a few minor dents and marks due to the age of the Vesta. Overall, a good example for this time. Please see the photographs.
