Antique Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee Medal 1897

An evocative piece of British royal history, this original Diamond Jubilee medal commemorates the reign of Queen Victoria.  Struck in bronze finish base metal. It is designed in a traditional four cross motif.

The central medallion houses a photo portrait of the Queen Victoria wearing a small crown and veil.

The medal retains the red silk ribbon and shows a beautiful aged patina.

Dated with Accession 1837, Born 1819, Married 1840 and Diamond Jubilee 1897.
