This is a rare vintage American Hammond typewriter, model No. 12.  It is a shop display model only and has a metal base.  The keys are fixed and it has been hand painted.

It measures 22cm x 22cm x 14.5cm approx.

The typewriter is from the 1930s.

It does have some age related wear and tear but this adds to the appeal.  Generally in good condition as the photographs show.
